Duke Soccer Camps have a strict NO REFUND policy and no refunds (partial or full) will be issued under any circumstance.

To protect your registration payment in the event that you are unable to participate due to an injury, illness, transportation difficulty, or other covered reason, Vertical Insure strongly encourages you to consider purchasing Registration Cancellation Insurance. This will provide relief from the “No Refund Policy” by refunding your registration costs should an incident occur. Registration Cancellation Insurance has no deductible and the cost of insurance is a small percentage of the program fee.

No room or board or Food

If weather permits sessions will be outside so make sure they bring warm clothes.

• 1 pair soccer shoes (normal soccer shoes can be used both on grass and on astroturf)
• shinguards.
• watch – it is recommended that each camper bring an inexpensive watch to assist him in keeping on schedule.
• Boys will be training outside so make sure they bring warm training clothes.
• SUNSCREEN
• BALL –  every camper MUST bring a ball to camp. Each camper is responsible for his own ball. You can purchase one when you register. Some will be sold at registration on a first come first serve. 

If transportation is needed, here is some information. Because taxis are limited in Durham, you need to CALL by telephone ahead of time to arrange your travel. A meter, starting with an initial fee of $3.60 and then $2.00 per mile after that, calculates the taxi fare. Airport taxis/shuttles generally charge a set fare from Durham to the airport, around $40 one-way from an off-campus apartment. Nowadays almost all companies accept major credit cards. Whenever you use a taxi or shuttle, you tip the driver 10-15% of the cost of the fare. We also recommend taking a taxi with a friend so you can split the fare.
